Happy Halloween

Spending the day with my boys - started today with orange pixy stix sugar in our cheerios--  then off to the store in the Halloween costumes, tex-mex for lunch (maybe a bad idea) and of course some trick or treatin' in the evenin' --- EVERYONE have a FUN & SAFE night!

Noticed a cute quote in my fridge today......."Jumping for joy can be good exercise"
 (on the Daisy sour cream container :)  hehe)

Modern Family Portraits in Downtown Denton

Last week I traveled to Denton for a quick session with this hip, young family with 2 very sweet little girls.  It was a beautiful morning and there were some great spots around the downtown square perfect for portraits with an urban twist.  My husband & I moved to Denton from Waco 2 weeks after we married.  We only lived there a short time and even though we now live an hour from there it is great going back & seeing how it has changed in the last 12 years and having an Awesome NEW YORK SUBWAY sandwich ----YUM-O!!!!!!!!!!

Are you a Momtrepreneur?

As a mom of 2 & a business owner I know how challenging it can be to juggle being a mommy and starting your own business.  Well lets face it is is hard whether you work outside the home, stay home with your children or do both - right? I have been very blessed to have built a business that I LOVE through great clientèle and word of mouth.  I am an avid supporter of mom based businesses, because I believe in their businesses and I love what they stand for.

What I want to to do is help other Momtrepreneurs get their names out there. I am looking for Momtrepreneurs, who like me, created their own business out of a great idea or by doing something they LOVE to do. Whether you own a store front, do your business online through eBay or etsy, direct sales or however you do it, I want to hear about it! And feature your business for blog readers & clients to find out about your services.

Every month I want to feature a new Momtrepreneur and their services or goods offered on my blog & those who read my blog and others you send to it will be able to see your business featured also. Your website or contact info will also be featured for others to locate your business also :)

Your picture (if desired) will be featured along with images of your products or services information and links to your website/contact information.

 

 What do you need to do?  send me an email to janice@adorationsphoto.com and I will send you back a questionnaire regarding your services/goods. Those selected will receive a feature spot on my blog -and I have fabulous blog stalkers by the way.

Long time - no post- almost booked up!!!

Haven't had time to post lately- sick kids, I had to have a root canal last week --etc etc -- I will be posting new stuff soon-- working on a new blog hopefully with BIGGER images-:) (so excited!!!) , new galleries for the website and sneak peeks-- busy time of year!!!

PLEASE NOTE: Availability for the rest of the year- I have one spot left for Oct - 2 spots in Nov & I am only booking maternity &/or newborn sessions for December in order to spend more time with my family-- email or call if you are looking to get in before the end of the year-- otherwise I am now booking into Jan/Feb 2009

After going back and reading my last post what came to thought was the REAL "ISSUES" at hand-- last night Kenney (my better half) & I watched the VP debates-- I am following this years election more than I ever did-- I won't use this blog as a political platform but it is all very interesting to me.
